CCN suffers a mammoth $1,375,000 penalty against Acai scam

After all a $1,375,000 penalty is not an ordinary one by any means, all credits to Attorney General Terry Goddard who acted heroically in response to the enormous complaints filed by the consumers who purchased low-cost Acai “risk-free trial offers” of CCN’s health supplements, but in turn got unnecessarily charged for the costly services and products other than Acai they never demanded for.
Apparently, CCN adopted a very smart way of deceiving the customers, as their order form had many pre-selected “up-sell” products other than free Acai samples which the customers failed to notice and got charged for, unless they did not deselect them on their own.
And it’s quite obvious that you don’t expect CCN to reply to the countless e-mails and phone calls complaining about their deeds. The customers were put on hold even for over an hour and their mails were never attended, but finally here’s an end to all the miseries!
